How To Be Lovely, Fruitful and Feminine
Hey beautiful! In this season of the global pandemic it can be quite challenging to feel motivated at times. However I believe that in every season despite the circumstances we can keep flourishing in fruitfulness! Here are some tips inspired by beautiful bible verses to share some advice to keep you encouraged in your journey of blossoming!
Tip 1: Nurture yourself with God’s Word
According to John 15, without Christ we can do nothing. In order for us to be fruitful in all that we do, our priorities must be within the Lord. Spending time with Him, growing in intimacy in relationship with God. True beauty and fruitfulness is rooted in the heart, it is cultivated through knowing the Lord! So I would encourage you to maximise this season with intention and draw nearer to your Heavenly Father.
- Study His word
- Saturate yourself in prayer
- Immerse yourself in His glorious presence with worship
- Grow your heart in gratitude and thanksgiving to the Lord
Through nurturing ourselves with the word, we are able to be transformed through the renewing of our minds. Blossom in strength, fruitfulness and beauty whilst you sit at His feet, feeding yourself with His truth.
Tip 2: Help Family and Embrace Homemaking
Whether you are living alone or with family, embracing homemaking can be a beautiful way to serve the Lord. Through doing this you are helping not only yourself, but also your family, your home and nurturing all that is around you through radiating gratitude to the Lord. God is pleased when we take care of the things He has blessed us with. A pleasant home will create a comfortable, lovely and homely environment for you and your family to feel great in.
“Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” – Philippians 2:4
- Experiment with new healthy meals
- Get creative with baking lovely treats
- Keep up with the cleanliness in the home
- Spend quality time with family
- Add beauty to your home by decorating or adorning your rooms with flowers
This is a wonderful way to blossom in fruitfulness and embrace your femininity as you serve the Lord.
Tip 3: Learn To Appreciate Yourself
Learn to have a healthy relationship with yourself, for a long time I have struggled with loving myself. One day God highlighted a particular verse to me:
“And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'” – Matthew 22:39
I believe in order for us to love others in the best way possible, we have to first have a healthy relationship with ourselves, because how we view and treat ourselves can radiate outwardly. Use this season to get to know yourself!
- Write a long list of things that you love about you
- Ask God what He loves about you
- Write down your hobbies, talents and gifts
- Write down your dreams, goals and vision
- Meditate on what Christ has done for you and how much He loves you!
You will begin to see how much beauty and treasure that God has placed within you when you look over these things! Jesus loves you! Ask the Lord to help you to see yourself on how He sees you! Trust me, it helps!
Tip 4: Nourish and Take Care of Your Body
Always remember that your body is a precious temple of the Holy Spirit, do not neglect it. Nurture it, nourish it!
- Maintain a healthy, balanced diet to keep your body healthy
- Look after your skin by upgrading your skincare face and body routine
- Exercise/take daily walks to benefit your body
I believe sometimes we can underestimate how important our bodies are to the Lord. He has taken the time to create us fearfully, wonderfully and beautifully. Let’s ensure that we are honouring the Lord by how we treat it.
Tip 5: Cultivate Your Gifts
Whether you have discovered them or not, God has blessed you with many talents and gifts. These can be such a great help and encouragement to others as you give glory and honour to the Lord!
What are your gifts?
Ask the Lord and pray about how you can use what He has given you to be blessing to others! Never underestimate the significance of your gift, what seems small to you may mean the world to some.
