The Reason Why Your Life Gets Worse Before It Gets Better

Hello beautiful!

What have you been praying and seeking God for ? Is the current season you are in a season of waiting and maybe even silence and wondering when God will come through to give you a breakthrough?

This was similar to Ruth’s case in Ruth 3. She was now in a position where all she could do is sit tight and trust that all is well in the Lord’s hands. If you haven’t read it already, I would strongly encourage you to do so! It a beautiful story full of faith, trust, loyalty and love.

There are many different things that may be on your heart that you have put forward to God. Is it a dream job? A house? A child? A spouse? Financial breakthrough? Whatever it may be, your Heavenly Father knows the things you need before you even ask of them. He cares so deeply for you as His child and would never withhold anything good from you.

There are various reasons that lay behind the waiting season. They could possibly be:

  • God is preparing you
  • God is teaching you something
  • God in His perfect wisdom and knowledge may think it’s not yet the right timing
  • God wants your faith and trust to become stronger

I am not God, so I can’t truly say the certain reason as to why you are in this season of your life. But seek Him, and you will find the answer.

He may be preparing you for the answer because if you received the answer right now, you wouldn’t be able to handle it.

He may be trying to teach you a lesson in the waiting, what could that possibly be for you?

Timing always matters, God wouldn’t release something to you if He knew it wouldn’t be beneficial at that particular time.

The Bible also says that without faith, we cannot please the Lord. In this season is the Lord calling you to go deeper in faith and trust in Him?

Ask, seek, knock and the door will be opened unto you.

In this season of waiting, I’d like to encourage you and tell you that your best days are ahead of you. God wants to bless you abundantly. Lift your head high and give Him praise for what He has done and is about to do in your precious life! Draw nearer to Him, grow deeper in His Word. Continue to seek first the kingdom of God and all else will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33)
