1. Wear a matte finish primer
Matte finish primers are usually oil free and help your face looking flawlessly matte all day!
2. Use a baking powder
Baking powder helps to lock in your makeup, brighten and mattify. Use a baking powder on your t-zone and also underneath your eyes for maximum impact. My favourite is the Ben Nye Banana Powder or Huda Beauty Easy Bake.
3. Exfoliate your face 2-3 times a week
Exfoliating will help to remove your dead skin cells and control the over production of oil on your skin. A good exfoliator is the Nip and Fab Glycolic Scrub.
4. Use a face mask weekly
Use an oil absorbing face mask that sets dry. This will help to soak up all the excess oils that are laying on your skin. Do this weekly and you will see the improvement in your skin.
5. Use a specialised moisturiser for oily skin and drink water
Whether you have oily skin, you must always moisturise anyway. It is possible to have oily skin but dehydrated also. Drink plenty of water and use a lightweight moisturiser that is targeted for oily skin. Hydra Balance Moisturiser by Elemis is great for oily skin.
