Isaiah 43:18-19 – Do Not Dwell On The Past (Letting Go Of Past Relationships)

Letting go of past relationships is never an easy process, but I believe it’s healthier to learn what is good for you.

Circumstances of disappointment always make us seem like what we once had will only be our source of joy or security. Because in times of weakness and distress we tend to look at what’s going on around us, and not walking by faith alone. But the Lord always promises you something more. Your better days are ahead of you!

In this moment God is working in your life. Isaiah 43:18-19 says,

Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past

See I am doing a new thing! Do you not perceive it? I am making a road in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland

Never forget that the Lord has something more in store for you, because He longs to fill your mouth with laughter and rejoicing. Overflow and happiness. Your peace should never be taken away from you. You as His child can live the full, abundant life that Jesus came here to give you. He will never force you to make a choice but He will always be willing to guide you into taking the right steps.

2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind

When it comes to relationships, God wants His daughters to have the absolute best for them! Nothing less. He sees His children as precious and honoured in His sight (Isaiah 43:4).  He would never want to see you go through so much heartbreak. Trust that He is preparing someone just right for you as you allow Him to heal and mend your heart. Just as He did with mine.

He loves you dearly and has amazing plans for you in store.

God bless always,
