He Taught My Feet To Dance On Dissapointment

It would be so pointless to go through life so easy, without any trial at all. The reason I say that is because it is within the toughest moments, where our characters are sharpened.

Ecclesiastes 3 mentions the different seasons and times for everything.

A time to weep and a time to laugh,

A time to gain and a time to lose,

A time to mourn and a time to dance.

Throughout the past few years of my life, I’ve had to learn a lot of things on the way. And the experiences were not easy. I’m sure you can relate too. The things we have faced have actually equipped us for the future and what’s to come. Especially the way we will handle situations next time. We can only get stronger, especially with the wonderful Holy Spirit within us.

One of my favourite scriptures in the bible is Genesis 41:52

‘ For God has taught me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction ‘

This is absolutely powerful to me, and I can relate to Joseph so much. At one point I kept on facing so many situations that I decided to stop complaining, stop worrying and just flow with God as I trust Him. Since without Him, I can do nothing.

And ever since then, I rejoice during my trials. I am joyful during the storms, and I dance on disappointment because with God by my side I cannot fall. And with every challenge I face, the greater my strength and wisdom becomes.

Try and see your life from a different perspective, and enter into God’s rest. He has everything in full control xx
